So now your contract with O2 has ended, and you cant wait to change networks, but wait… your lovely I phone cant accept another SIM..damn. So what are you going to do? go to your local phone repair shop, hand your £300+ iphone to the indian fella, he sneaks into the back room..leaves you worried as fck. As you wait you cant help but notice other dead phones on his table.. to cut the story short, you are most likely going to get fckd, then pay £10 for it.

Just to assure you, I have done this numerous times with my Iphone, and its still functioning. Lets hope you have the same luck.

Here we go.. First things first.. make sure you have a reliable internet connection,if you are on dial up..lets just say you will have to look for other things to do while this process is going on. USB cable, yes the same one you use to transfer your music and last but not least an Iphone

You need to jailbreak your Iphone first.. its quite a terrifying name but dont worry, I’ll hold your hands through it.

Im actually not going to sit here and write tutorials on this,  common, what google for? you know it can be used to search for other things rather than porn.

Its not going to be a smooth ride for all of you trying to jailbreak and unlock your iphone, especially for the ones who have recently updated their firmware. Apple is trying to release more “secure” firmwares to curb jailbreaking and unlocking.. Make sure you have all the right files before you hit start, because unfortunately these softwares (RedSn0w download here) dont have the “undo” button.
